Western Canada will soon become the largest racing seen in Canada with the launch of the 2018 Western Canadian Karting Championship. For too long we have been travelling all across North America racing at the National level, when there are amazing great tracks, families and racers in our own back yard. The time has come to form the WCKC and create a series that is catered to all racers from club to National. Briggs and Rotax will be the back bone of the WCKC and we are working with both manufactures.
Our goal is to build a series that helps promote the sport of karting, create events that all racers can enjoy and travel to new tracks, learn and compete at a higher level then club and at the end of the day have a great time with fellow racers and families.”
In order to create a successful series we had to take a step back and look at current series that have been successful and have failed while listening to the Canadian racers needs. Please take a look at the presentation that was made this past weekend.
